Drive through Old San Juan and explore 400 years of rich Spanish legacy with our small group tour. This is a comfortable combination of driving around, exploring by foot and visiting the Bacardi distillery!

You will be picked up from your accommodation in our air-conditioned vehicle and transported to the historical town, Old San Juan. During the drive through Old San Juan, you will receive lots of information on historical landmarks that you see around you. You might feel that you’ve been thrown back into the past with over 400 well-preserved buildings in the old city! Old San Juan is the second oldest city in America, a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as a U.S. Historic Zone.

We continue to the Bacardi Distillery. Here you will learn about the past, present, and future of the world’s most awarded rum and spirit and relive the history and see how Bacardí evolved from being a small rum manufacturer to becoming the Untameable Spirit that it is today with their Historical Tour. You will receive a free alcoholic beverage and souvenir cup!

Itinerary
Please note that the times below are approximate times and local circumstances may change the order of activities.
  • 8:30 a.m. Pick ups and driving tour through Old San Juan + 2 stops to sightsee by foot, eat and shop
  • 11:30 a.m. Arrive at Casa Bacardi / receive drink & visit the shop
  • 12:15 p.m. Historical Tour starts!
  • 1:00 p.m. Historical Tour finished + Drop offs 1:30 p.m. Tour finished
Shorts, flip-flops or sneakers are a go! Dress comfortably and remember that Puerto Rico is hot. The van is air conditioned but our stops will be outside. At the Bacardi Distillery, it is very cold inside due to the air conditioning.
You will be picked up at the address of your accommodation in the San Juan metropolitan area. Guests staying in Old San Juan or arriving on cruise ships will be picked up from central meeting point Plaza Colon, taxi stand. Your pick up and drop off location will be the same, unless requested different.
We require a minimum of 2 people to operate this tour. The maximum of people per group is 11 though we can accommodate bigger private groups upon request. In case the minimum numbers are not reached, a full refund will be granted or you will have the option to reschedule.
